I will work hard to cut wasteful spending wherever I fi nd it and then lower water and sewer rates. 10. If elected, how will your position benefi t the community? Our town is losing vendors and snowbirds at an alarming rate , those I've talked to blame the council for upping costs to stay here and do busi- ness here. This needs to be addressed. Taxes sewer water charges go up and we still can't drink the water 8. None worth mentioning 9. Taxes, sewer, water. Work with new council to work on them 10. My motto is. I worked for the Town of Quartzsite close to 16 years and know what it takes to run town business. 6. 19 years. 7. I would like to see the town develop in a peaceful environment. It is not necessary to have what is going on now. We need to work together for all those who live here no matter whether it is for 6 months or year-round. We need to work as adults for the community, not just a selected few. And not pun- ish other people if our personal goals are not met. We need to look at the town as a whole and if we see some- thing wrong we need to correct it not criticize it. We need to look at ways to bring people to our community and increase the time period that our visi- tors stay. We need to work as a whole because everyone will benefi t. 8. Volunteered at the pancake break- fast held by the Catholic Church during the winter season. Volunteered at Town Hall for Christmas Light Parade. Help at Senior Center at lunch. 9. Right now the main issue is the wa- ter and sewer. Without the water and sewer improvement we will not be able to bring more people to Quartzsite. Improvement will cut costs for admin- istration which would make it so that future rate hikes would be in smaller amounts. I would like to see us work together to improve it. I would like to see more events and advertising done for the Town. Maybe see what we can do in the area of promotion. We need to improve for not only the RV Parks but also local businesses, shows, and residents. 10. I have been com- ing to Quartzsite since 1998. I moved to Quartzsite 5 years ago. Quartzsite is my retirement home. 6. I have been a Quartzsite Voter for 5 years 7. I am running for offi ce as in the last fi ve years there has been to many nega- tive things people say about Quartzsite. When I tell someone that I retired to Quartzsite, I don't want to hear "Oh that's the place with all the bad politics" I want to change the way people see Quartzsite and say "They do things right and I would want to visit or move there.
