The two biggest issues facing Quartzsite right, now in my opin- ion, are the sewer expansion and the upcoming water rates, but long term I feel that the major issue is the growth of Quartzsite. Growth is important to our business and residents but need to be done in a way that Quartzsite doesn't lose its uniqueness and com- munity atmosphere. I will address these issues as I have everything that has come before me, by looking at things rationally, by being willing to put the time and effort in to it to gather as much information as I can and by being willing to listen to people and make decisions that I feel are the best for the town and residents, regardless of personal relationships. 10. If elected, my position will benefit the community because I am open to listen. I treat everyone respectfully, even when that means we respectfully disagree. I have volunteered hundreds of hours for the benefit of the com- munity. I am a life-long learner and continue to seek out opprotunities that further my effectiveness as a board member even at my own expense. I be- lieve in honesty, integrity and account- ability in government and will contin- ue to strive to make that happen.
