November 18, 2013 Richard L. Shields '46, d. February 14, 2014 Frederick J. Petzold '62, d. February 22, 2014 Alumni Update Robert J. Knox '43 and his wife, Jean, celebrated 70 years of marriage in August. The couple was married on August 22, 1943, and lives in Brighton, Colo. E-mail: scott45vin@ gmail.com David T. Runyan '58 recently returned from an 18-day cruise. He keeps busy in retirement taking art classes two days a week and had three displays in an exhibit in August. After leaving Minnesota, David has enjoyed the Florida winters and notes that the summers aren't more difficult than Kansas summers. "You can't shovel heat," he said. They have two daughters and a grandson who went through rush at Georgia Tech. Michael H. Mount '65 enjoys traveling in the United States and Europe during his retirement. His oldest son, Spenser, finished his baseball career at Ottawa University as their third best hitter in school history. Matt Moore '13 Pi Deuteron's First Wilkinson Award Winner M att Moore '13 won the prestigious Wilkinson Award, given to the outstanding graduating senior in Phi Gamma Delta nationwide.
