Their son, Edward, attended KU and Vermont Law School and now works for the KU Honors Program. Their daughter, Anne, attended Princeton and Harvard Law School and now works for McKinsey & Co. in Washington, D.C. Throughout Justin's busy professional career, he was thankful for some lessons learned while an undergraduate. "Being a member of a fraternity, you learn how to get along with individuals and within groups. These are valuable lessons that definitely help you in the business world. Fiji KU is an experience that stays with you the rest of your life." Justin can be contacted by e-mail at jdhealy@cox.net. A nother successful semester at Pi Deuteron is in the books. FIJI Welcomes 24 New Members We are excited to have initiated 24 new members, tirelessly recruited by our Recruitment Chairmen Chris Bohannon '15 and Reid Augustine '15. Our new Recruitment Chairmen, Adam Smith '16 and Jeff DeGolia '16, are looking to match a fall 2014 pledge class of similar size. Undergraduates Involved across Campus Homecoming was an exciting time as we paired up with Sigma Kappa and won a few spirit competitions on campus. KU FIJIs continue to be involved across campus. We were excited to have Chris Bohannon and Adam Smith elected to IFC Vice President and Director of Community Service and Philanthropy, respectively. Steven Melton '14 is the President of the Board of Class Officers. We are also proud to have members serving on the Rock Chalk Revue Advisory Board and the University's Student Senate as well as many other clubs and organizations across campus. Intramurals have been electrifying as ever. We were runners up in football and continued to compete aggressively in basketball, soccer, volleyball, and softball. Our annual FIJI Run for Leukemia was a huge success this past November as we paired up with brothers from the Chi Deuteron Chapter at Kansas State to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. As we wrap up the spring, we are looking forward to the summer with high hopes for recruitment success. We greatly appreciate our alumni involvement and commitment to the Chapter. We hope to see you at Pi Deuteron in the near future. Fraternally, Justin Ruffalo '16 Chapter President (949) 929-7254 KUFijiPresident@gmail.com Perge!
