Woodmill Winery Celebrates! –M. A. Andrews Dannette Propst and Stephanie Messer enjoyed some wine samplings at Woodmill Winery's annual spring event. Hundreds came out to Woodmill Winery's 2014 Spring Wine & Pottery Show, held on March 15. Folks enjoyed wine samplings, winery tours, and all types of items made and demonstrated by skilled crafts- men. Admission was free and the crowd got to enjoy twenty- two varieties of wine. Recently, Woodmill Winery received an order to ship 1260 bottles of their Red Muscadine brand to Shanghai, China, proving that the popularity of this North Carolina wine is desired world- wide. One of the craftsman at Woodmill was Gary D. Poovey from Vale. He was demonstrating how to make custom leather goods.
