p. 2 TExAs AlphA AccolAdE alumnus scholarship Created to support actives' education i n 2013 Dick Vermillion '67 made a lead gift that established the John K. Tyler Balanced Man Scholarship, honoring John's lifetime contributions to the chapter, alumni, and national fraternity. The scholarship will be granted annually to the active best exemplifying Balanced Man characteristics. Contributions are still being sought to reach our goal of $50,000. John was very humbled by the gesture, and those of you who have known and worked with him know it's long overdue.
