Mardi Gras Events Dance night away at Orpheus gala Orpheus Theatre will throw its annual Mardi Gras Gala & Auction from 7 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the St. Mary’s Parish Center on Walnut Street in Oneonta. Entertainment will include local singing group Too Many Divas and a DJ spinning music throughout the night. Celebrity auctioneer Big Chuck D’Imperio of WDOS will offer a variety of prizes to bid on, such as a one-week stay in a private cottage, a bicycle and gift certificates for food, massages and spa treatments. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children and students. Price includes admission, food and beverages. All money raised will go to Orpheus Theatre. Band to play for YMCA Just Throw Money will hit the stage at the Carriage House, Event Center, 790 Southside Drive in Oneonta, at 6 p.m. Saturday. The classic folk/country band will perform to benefit the Oneonta Family YMCA. In addition to music, sample locally made appetizers and cast a vote for the Best Pub Grub contest. Music and beads in Earlville Enjoy the music of singer-storyteller Mary Gauthier while celebrating Mardi Gras at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Earlville Opera House Arts Cafe.
