The menu will be Meatloaf, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Biscuit, Coleslaw, Beverage and special chocolate desserts! The cost of lunch for seniors age 55 and better is $5.00 and all others $5.50. SilverArts/Senior Games Entry Packets SilverArts and Senior Games Entry Packets are NOW AVAILABLE at the Council on Aging/Neal Senior Center at the Front Desk. Packets may be picked up Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. SilverArts and Senior Games is now open to participants age 50 and better! SilverArts, "a celebration of the creative expression of seniors in North Carolina", is a major component of the traditional athletic competition of North Carolina Senior Games. In a philosophy that strives to keep seniors healthy, active and involved, SilverArts unites the athlete and artist in a program that recognizes the similarities of both endeavors: discipline, dedication, and pride in one's accomplishments. SilverArts provides a stage for the creative talents of the visual, heritage, literary, and performing artists. Senior Games is an exciting health promotion program for adults 50 years of age and better. There are a wide range of activities designed for individuals at various fitness levels. Some of these activities are golf, bowling, tennis, track, softball, basketball, swimming, horseshoes, croquet, cornhole, billiards, and more.
