"Jim" Childers, 82, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on January 29, 2014. Funeral services were held at Temple Baptist Church. Burial followed at Mountain Rest Cemetery. Mr. Childers served our country in the US Army where he received the Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Childers; his parents, W.A. Childers and Helen Skinner Childers; sister, Ann Moss; grandson, Rusty McAbee; and two great grand- children. Mr. Childers is survived by his wife, Pat S. Mrs. Lovelace was preced- ed in death by her husband, Robert Lovelace; her parents, Freddie Clay and Betty Lail Clay; and a sister, Rebecca Wall. Mr. Walker served our country in the US Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Walker Born and his life parent Sam and Shirley Jones. He is survived by his wife of twenty eight years, two additional sisters-in- law, Myrtle Ellis and Earline Baxter both of Shelby and one brother-in-law, Robert "Bob" Smith (Mae Lois) of Lincolnton, NC. Enloe Mortuary is serving the family. GEORGE THEODORE PAYSOUR JR. Mr. George Theodore Paysour Jr., 66 passed away on January 29, 2014. Services were held at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory. Mr. Paysour served our country in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Theodore Paysour and Earsie Grigg Wood. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Phyllis White Paysour; a son, George Theodore Paysour III "Trey"; four daughters, Nicole Holland and husband David of Forest City, Elaine Kanupp and husband Matt of Dallas, Heather Paysour of Shelby, and Madison Cansler of the home; three brothers, Dean Paysour and wife Faye, Jerry Paysaur and wife Virginia, and Donnie Paysour and wife Tina, all of Shelby and nine grandchildren. CURTIS WARE Mr. Curtis Ware, 90, of Kings Mountain, NC passed away on January 29, 2014. Services were held at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Cherryville American Legion Post 100. Mr. Ware served our country in the US Navy during WWII. He was preced- ed in death by his parents, W. Hunter Ware and Ocie Bell Ware and two brothers Erskine and Houston Ware. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Novella Lovelace Ware of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Pamela Ware and Timothy and Patricia Ware all of Kings Mountain; two daughters and sons-in- law, Janice and Bill Horn of Kings Mountain and Cathy and Donald Dover of Shelby, NC; a brother Bill Ware of Kings Mountain; numerous grandchildren, great grand- children and great-great grandchildren.
