The mo- rale of the Gamma Gamma chapter over the past year has been outstanding. I am more than proud of the chapter's success in suc- cessfully leading 37 new pledges to our broth- erhood. This pledge class is comprised of 32 freshmen accompanied by two sophomores and one senior! Thanks to the efforts of our Rush Chair, Jack Martin, we look forward to lead- ing these men through pledgeship under Member Educator Gavin Meier and Vice President Braden Blackburn. As stated in my last update, our newly reno- vated facility has been a tremendous quality of life improvement for our brothers, as well as an excellent tool for Rush. Many of our pledges commented on the cleanliness and impressiveness of the house, which played a pivotal part in their decision to pledge Alpha Tau Omega. Benchmarking our achievements to the other organizations on campus, we are proud to say that we held the highest bid-acceptance ratio of any other Greek organization holding an astounding 82% bid acceptance ratio, a dras- tic deviation from our historical 66% bid ac- ceptance rate. Looking forward to our next challenges as a chapter, we are excited to lead our phenome- nal pledge class to initiation under the excel- lent leadership of Gavin Meier. Brother Meier has dedicated numerous hours to refining a pledge education process which utilizes posi- tive reinforcement and the recognition of those outstanding actions that both brothers and pledges take while ensuring we maintain a culture which encourages supportive prac- tices. Gamma Gamma has doubled down in our efforts to help local alumni. The chapter suc- cessfully helped Gamma Gamma Alum Greg Gibson in set up and tear down of his annual Barn Party, which supported a local sports and recreation site. Gamma Gamma dedicated over 120 hours of man hours to the event. Additionally, we are excited to announce that we have started a collaboration effort with Thomas Arkle Clark Award-winning alum Thomas Reives and his non-profit Rook's Books. We hosted our 24-hour gaming mara- thon on November 16-17 th in efforts to raise money to support building Christmas gift baskets for local NICU families alongside the Reives family. Lastly, we look forward to hosting our annual Big Brothers Big Sister Christmas Party on December 14 th with local Terre Haute BBBS children. I'm very proud of the Gamma Gamma chap- ter's success this year, having no narrower limits than the outlines of the world. Respectfully, Andrew Tufto '24 President \\\\\\\\\\\\ CHAPTER UPDATE \\\\\\\\\\\\ Gamma Gamma
