LAMBDA CRESCENT | Fall 2023 WE DID IT! To say the least, we are quite pleased to share that the campaign goal of $1.25 million has been surpassed. Total pledges by 273 brothers approximate $1.33 million, of which nearly $800,000 has already been received. The balance is pledged to be received within the next three years. This strong support is a testament to the AGR brotherhood at Lambda Chapter. Nonetheless, we plan to mail one last solicitation for anyone who would still like to donate. All donors of at least $2,500 will be recognized on the donor wall prominently displayed just outside of the Chapter room at Lambda. This also provides an opportunity for existing donors to move up levels on the wall, if so desired. The plans for the parking lot improvement of the Clocker property are progressing. We have contracted with Kimley-Horn to help shepherd this project through the City of St. Paul. They had previously worked with us to develop the original concept design that was used as a basis for the campaign. They have now reworked that initial design a few times to get the City's final approval. The two lots (2060 Carter and the Clocker property) have been legally combined. The City also requested some minor changes to our initial plan for installation of a parking lot and landscaping, which have been incorporated into the final design. We are anticipating final approval from the City before year-end. We have already received preliminary quotes from a couple of contractors for construction of the parking lot. We have also met with a landscaper to assist with that portion of the project. Accordingly, we expect to hit the ground running for the project in the spring of 2024!
