This week's project is to come to the Headquarters Library's mini pumpkin patch and decorate a mini pumpkin. Kids 12-14 years and 15-18 years will be grouped together. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 21 MELODY VEALEY FOOTE BOOK SIGNING A BIT OF CAROLINA 5 p.m. Beardtoberfest is an exciting contest centered around facial hair. This lively event features a captivating competition that fosters camaraderie and serves the noble purpose of contributing to the betterment of our local community. Tickets are $15. All proceeds generated from this event are generously donated to the Karen Chandler Trust, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the local community. Tickets for the hayrides can be purchased on-site, only for walk-ins, at the intersection of Mason Street and Ray Ave. These 40-minute hayrides through the city center are a cherished tradition of the Dogwood Fall Festival that you won't want to overlook.
