Traffic, safety and timing are all things parents are checking off their list as they make Halloween game day plans. Locals looking to take their little ghouls and goblins trick or treating have an early-in-the-day, safe and fun option at Dirtbag Ales Brewery and Taproom. e 6th Annual Trick or Treat the Market is happening at Dirtbag Ales, 5435 Corporation Dr, Hope Mills, on Oct. 29th. Trick or treating starts at 2:30 p.m. after the Sunday Farmers Market ends and continues until 3:30 p.m. or until supplies run out. e cost is $5 per child and payment is cash only. Tickets can be purchased at Dirtbag Ales Brewery and Taproom during normal operating hours up until the day before the event. ose wanting to attend are encour- aged to buy early, as the event is always sold out. Tickets will not be available for purchase on the day of. Owners and staff of Dirtbag Ales have taken great care to make sure this year's Trick or Treat the Market is the best yet. Like many of their other events, Christina, bartender and bar manager says, "Our purpose is to bring together our community and surrounding com- munities through love of craft beer, great food, and live music, all while supporting our local vendors." Trick-or-treaters will get a full impressive experience from the time they arrive until it's time to head home. ere will be plenty of activities to keep the kiddos happy. Trick-or-treaters and their parents can have their faces painted and visit the on-site pumpkin patch. ere will be live music provided by e Phoebes Band starting at 12:30 p.m. and continuing until 3:30 p.m. e Phoebes Band is a rock and soul band that started in 2021 during the pandemic. ey got their start at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Presents Queens of the City at City Square in Charlotte and are currently recording their debut album. ere will be no shortage of food, with a full list of food vendors that in- cludes Authentique Cafe, Alamo Snow, Sweet Goose, Drizzle D's, Taco Arepa, R Burger and Vagabond. As always, the adults will be able to secure "adult drinks" at the Dirtbag Ales bar. Trick or Treat the Market has no shortage of sponsors according to Christina. Lining up the sponsor board this year are the Welcome Home Team of Keller Williams, I-95 Muscle, e Boots at Home Team LLC, Renaissance Day Spa, Alternative Wellness, Some Ting's Cookin', Evanscornholeboards, Dream Finder Homes, Sovereign Tattoo Studio and Pinkys Chop Shop.
