Then move across the road to Lake Rim Park to examine remnants of Weed's Lightwood Plant, a century-old turpentine factory that left the kilns visible on the landscape today. Meet the staff at the new Bill Crisp Senior Center at 7560 Raeford Road, across the street from Lake Rim Park. This free event is open to those 15 years old or older. TUESDAY, MARCH 28 THURSDAY, MARCH 23 BUDWEISER CLYDESDALES VISIT AIRBORNE AND SPECIAL OPERATIONS MUSEUM 3 p.m. Mark your calendars for this family-frien- dly, free event. The famous Budweiser Clydesdales are coming to the U.S. Army Airborne and Special Operations Museum. The Clydesdales have been a part of the iconic Budweiser brand for more than 80 years. Bring the entire family out for a free viewing of these larger-than-life horses. Enjoy looking at these beautiful show horses while eating an Italian Ice from Sunset Slush of Grays Creek! Families can connect, play, learn about resources in our community, see costumed characters, pose for photos, shop our vendors, and much more. There will be different "Lands" to explore: Safety Land, Jumbo Land, Superhero & Princess Land, just to name a few. The first 200 kids will receive a "Superhero" cape to start their adventure into Little Land. This event is free for the community. FAYETTEVAUDEVILLE JR. GILBERT THEATER 10 a.m. The Dirtbag Ales Farmers Market is a gath- ering place where local farmers and pro- ducers can connect with their community and share their passions. Join us for live music, local vendors, food trucks, yoga, and Dirtbag Ales craft brews. We welcome everyone of all ages and backgrounds and encourage them to connect with the community that we call home! This week- end is the opening weekend for the 2023 Markets. The markets will happen every Sunday through November 19. SUNDAY, MARCH 26 FRIDAY, MARCH 24 WALK AWHILE SEGRA STADIUM 6 p.m. WALK AWHILE is a family-friendly walk in which men are asked to wear high-heeled shoes to show their support for women throughout the community. Onsite registration begins in front of Capital Building in downtown Fayetteville at 6 p.m., and the walk starts at 7 p.m. Registration is only $25 for walkers. Students can register for a discounted rate of $15. Busine - sses are encouraged to raise donations internally by having male supervisors or CEOs agree to walk if employees can raise enough money (goals can be set by the company).
