Avery '64 A s an out-of-state student, Beta has been an amazing opportunity for me to meet some of my closest friends and provide a tight-knit community within a large school. Beta has been particularly great because of how driven the members are in their careers, academics, and relationships with others. Being surrounded by such hardworking people has pushed me to be the best version of myself. The members of Beta Pi truly embody and live out our five core values, and that's how I know I joined the right fraternity. Some of my favorite memories from Beta have been Brotherhood Weekend, broomball, and intramural basketball. I will graduate in May with a degree in mechanical engineering and currently work in a contracting role at Medtronic for 24 hours per week. I'm applying for other positions in the medical device field, both in Minneapolis and across the country.
