The following findings and subsequent recommendations are based on the analysis of the information gathered and Pennington & Company's experience in raising more than $950 million in support of Greek life. Delta Chi alumni are grateful for the ways the fraternity enhanced their lives through friendships and personal growth. For many, it remains the most memorable and impactful component of their collegiate experience. Eighty-nine percent of interviewees indicated they are either "Very Interested" or "Moderately Interested" in Delta Chi today. This high level of interest indicates alumni still care about Delta Chi and its future. Most interviewees were focused on their local chapter experience. Alumni who have served, or currently serve, on one of these boards were appreciative of the volunteer and staff leadership guiding the Fraternity and Educational Foundation through difficult times in recent years. Several alumni spoke to the perceived lack of cooperation between the two boards and would like to see the Fraternity and Educational Foundation boards have a stronger working partnership and aligned goals in the future. Interviewees were asked for their opinion about the three proposed campaign objectives: The Leadership Institute, Removing Financial Challenges, and Building Our Endowment. Overall, alumni responded positively to the idea of executing a fundraising campaign to support these priorities. Eighty-three percent of interviewees view the program elements to be either "Very Important" or "Important." Alumni have differing interest levels in the various initiatives. Seventy-eight percent stated creating a leadership institute is a top priority. Endowing operational expenses of the Educational Foundation was the next highest priority (67%). Finally, 55% of interviewees noted Removing Financial Challenges was their first or second priority. Additional opinions about the funding priorities are detailed later in this report. When discussing a capital campaign, 91% of interviewees believe the Foundation should proceed with a campaign. Forty-eight percent of alumni rank Delta Chi as a "Top Priority"
