For many alumni, their chapter, educational institutions, and charitable organizations in their local community were mentioned as higher giving priorities than the Educational Foundation. Additionally, several interviewees indicated they make giving decisions as a family, and at this time, Delta Chi is not their partner's priority. Seventy-eight percent of interviewed alumni indicated they would make a pledge or gift to the campaign. During the study, interviewees were asked to estimate their gift level, based on current information, if the Foundation proceeded with a campaign. The following estimates were provided: The gift estimates listed above were secured by personal interviews (in person, by phone, and by video). Fourteen were not willing to provide an estimate at this time but indicated a willingness to make a gift. Thirteen alumni indicated they would not make a gift to a campaign.
