They will be making a mural with all the amazing faces of the military kids at Fort Bragg. They will be using old military uniforms from different branches to make the mural. The event is free for families to attend. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 6 SPRING MUSIC CONCERT TONY RAND STUDENT CENTER 7 p.m. The Fayetteville Technical Community College Chorus and Student Soloists will be joined by vocal ensembles from Wayne Community College, Lenoir Community College and the University of Mount Olive for their Spring concert. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be at FTCC's Tony Rand Student Center's Multipurpose Room. THURSDAY, APRIL 7 FRÄULEIN POTTERY OPENING 127 PERSON STREET 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. The Women's Business Center of Fayette- ville is excited to host the ribbon cutting for the grand opening of Fräulein Pottery. Fräulein Pottery, like many American businesses, was started out of a garage. With love, attention to detail and a passion for pottery, the owner created her own little home-based pottery studio in 2021. One year later Fräulein Pottery outgrew her home and she moved into a new studio & store in historic downtown Fayetteville. There will be refreshments and food by Bread and Sugar by Dali at the grand opening, as well as information about pottery workshops and specials for the upcoming weekend. SATURDAY, APRIL 9 SOUTH POST EGGSTRAVAGANZA FORT BRAGG SOUTH EXCHANGE 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. The Easter Bunny is hopping over to the South Post Exchange and Commissary Complex for an EggStravaganza Event. They will have different activities scheduled through the morning, all leading up to the candy cannon and Easter egg hunt. Some activities are limited while the supplies last. There will be fun for children of all ages. SUPER SCIENCE FUNFEST FASCINATE-U MUSEUM 12 p.m. - 3 p.m. The Fascinate-U Children's museum is partnering with Methodist University to showcase their fun and inspiring STEM curriculum. There will be hands-on activi- ties, demonstrations from the university's science departments, the Cape Fear Mineral and Gem Society will be showcasing their fossils and stones, Robotic activities from Robo Dojo, kids crafts and more. FAYETTEVILLE WOODPECKERS SEGRA STADIUM 7:05 p.m. Celebrate opening night of the Fayetteville Woodpeckers season at the Segra Sta- dium. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Woodpeckers 'band tour' t-shirt! The Woodpeckers will be facing off against the Salem Red Sox. Follow- ing the game, they will be lighting up the sky with fireworks. The game will kick off the first of 66 fun-filled home games this season at Segra Stadium.
