2021 CHAPTER UPDATE
Coming off the heels of a global pandemic the
chapter has seized the opportunity to return to
normalcy and ran with it. Starting with the Fall 2021
Pledge Class and culminating with the return of
some favorite traditions that we all know and love.
It goes without saying that the excitement and fun
of being able to host tailgates for alumni, family,
friends, and guests once again were enjoyable.
Being the largest the chapter size has ever been
has also been fun as it has created chances for new
activities, IMs, brotherhood events, and a larger
social reach for the entire chapter. This has allowed
Texas Alpha to continue on its path towards a Top
House on UT's campus!
Keeping with the theme of 'Legacy' the chapter has
always looked for ways to incorporate and keep time
honored traditions of Texas Alpha alive. That's why when it came
time to planning the Fall staple party it was a no brainer to bring
back Shipwreck, which was a blast to plan and also host.
Additionally, the chapter has had the opportunity to
work with some different organizations and causes
around the Austin community for Philanthropic
purposes. From Field Day to the newly created
Casino Royale, Texas Alpha has continued to embody
the spirit of "The Great Joy of Serving Others".
Completing over 1200 hours of service and raising
over $5000 for non-profit organizations.
We look forward to the future and what is to come for Texas
Alpha, we want to thank our current Undergrad Chapter
Leadership for their service as we get ready to transition to new
Officers & Committee Heads for the upcoming year!

over 475 total people in attendance this year.
Reviving an old tradition! The famous Phi Psi Shipwreck party returned this
year with a huge crowd.
