Radio-Television-Film Congratulations, Texas Pike Seniors! 31 Brothers Graduate in May 2021 T exas Pike is pleased to salute the 31 brothers who become Longhorn graduates this spring. e group includes two past Pike presidents and a number of other officers and committee chairmen. ese men were active across campus in professional societies, founded philanthropy events and produced an award-winning RTF student film. ree of these brothers played Texas club lacrosse and one was a Silver Spur. Many of the graduates are part of the fall 2017 pledge class, which will be long remembered as scholars, leaders and big contributors to Pike's centennial year. Many of the brothers were in either the Cockrell School of Engineering or the McCombs School of Business. Kudos to Corey Barker '17 who was Valedictorian of the Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering Department of the Cockrell School! It 's a group that includes computer science, economics, RTF, Plan II graduates and many other outstanding scholars. e men are joining companies like American Airlines, Deloitte, DPR Construction and Fidelity Investments, and several of them are headed to law and dental schools. Congratulations, men, and welcome to Texas Exes and Pike alumni status. Hook 'em Horns and SLAG! Left: Jackson Harris '16 earned the McCombs School's prestigious combined BBA/master of public accounting degree. Jackson has accepted a position with Deloitte's audit practice in Austin. Middle: Peyton Wolfcale '17 and Tom Hoeg '17 look forward to dental school. Peyton is heading to Texas A&M's College of Dentistry in Dallas. Tom will attend UT Health San Antonio's School of Dentistry. Right: Austin-area alumni hosted the traditional Senior Send-Off Lunch for the graduating seniors in late May. Past presidents Tommy Waun '17 and Richard Sherwood '17 were presented with Pike blankets to thank them for their leadership and commitment over the years. Nick ompson '16 Miami, Fla. Architectural Engineering Peter Wang '18 Shenzhen, China Mechanical Engineering omas Waun '17 Austin, Texas Economics Peyton Wolfcale '17 Austin, Texas Biology Matthew Stusick '19, who posed with UT President Jay Hartzell backstage at graduation, earned a government degree and is joining Fidelity Investments in North Texas. Matthew Lambert '17 hopes to put his mechanical engineering degree to work in the automotive or industrial manufacturing fields.
