Holman '02 A Q&A with Michigan Alpha Chapter President Parker Lynch '20 What is your favorite restaurant in town? My favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor is definitely Frita Batidos. It has outstanding Cuban burgers with fries on top. I honestly eat there twice a week and highly recommend it. Where is your go to place to study? This year, my go to place has been Ross. In a normal year, I would go to the UGLI or the Law library, but with those buildings closed, Ross is my next best option. Plus, Ross has a Starbucks inside to keep me going and isn't too far of a walk from the house. What made you want to join Phi Psi? I wanted to join Phi Psi because of the bond I noticed between the brothers. It was amazing to me how close everyone was with each other, from the seniors to new members. Everybody always talks about how Phi Psi has the strongest brotherhood on campus, which is definitely the biggest reason I joined this fraternity. What are your favorite Phi Psi memories? My favorite Phi Psi memory was definitely the Mud Bowl game last year. It was awesome seeing all of the brothers so united and passionate about their fraternity. It honestly felt like we were going to war together. The laughs and screams from that day were incredible. And the fact that we won made it an awesome day. What would you say to an incoming freshman thinking about joining? I would tell an incoming freshman that joining Phi Psi will be the best decision they'll make in their life. There is nowhere on this campus that has as close of a bond that we all have. The moment you accept your bid, you have hundreds of new friends willing to do anything for you. We have fun, work hard in school, and have brothers from all over the country. How has Phi Psi and your time in the chapter impacted your life? My time in Phi Psi is better than I could have ever imagined. It's crazy to me that after accepting my bid and getting initiated that I can confidently say that I have 125 best friends. The brothers in my class make me a better person every day and I would do just about anything for any of them, as I know they would for me. We always talk about how we never want to leave this school and that we all bring out the best in each other. After all, these guys are the ones who are going to be the happiest at my wedding and the saddest at my funeral.
