Founders' Day 2021.
D
ue to COVID-19 considerations, we held
a virtual Founders' Day event on Zoom.
While we only had six participants, we enjoyed
singing "Amici" together, so the event was
considered a success. A recording was posted
on our Facebook page, which received almost
100 views. We also discussed updates on the
chapter, the donation campaign, and scholarship
offerings, including the new Michael R. Etzioni
Scholarship.
The state of Michigan Alpha is strong, as we
have successfully navigated the challenges of
COVID-19. Thank you to all the brothers who
have paved the way for Michigan Alpha to be
successful amid the pandemic! As we look to the
future, we hope to save for continual upgrades to
the chapter house to further cement our standing
as the premier social fraternity at the University
of Michigan. Hopefully, next year we can cel-
ebrate Founders' Day in person with attendance
like we had in 2010 and 2011 (see photos to the
right). Thank you all for your support!
