Branson is known as one of the most veteran-friendly, patriotic cities in America. Although Branson honors veterans every day of the year, Veterans Homecoming Week is a special annual event for service members and their families. There will be many different occasions for veterans and their families to be part of the festivities including mini reunions, memorials, a military ball and the Veteran's Day Parade. HARVEST FESTIVAL AT SILVER DOLLAR CITY Going on now through October 31, this year's festival promises to be even more grand than 2019. During the day, guests can view master craftsmen displaying their talents, and when the sun goes down, hand-carved illuminated Pumpkins in the City celebration begins. In addition to the normal park favorites like thrilling roller coasters, tasty treats and live shows, guests will enjoy creative genius and crafted excellence at the changing of the seasons. Come early in the day to enjoy Craft Days where you can stroll the park and watch many artisans demonstrate their work. Each week of the festival will bring a fresh group of artisans, making each of your fall visits to the park unique. BRANSONBULLETIN BRANSONBULLETIN TITANIC MUSEUM ATTRACTION A giant pink ribbon and pink face mask, symbols of hope and safety, are set to call attention to this year's Breast Cancer Awareness Month at the Titanic Museum Attraction. This marks the sixth year the museum has cleared the decks for this month-long crusade and the first time a giant pink face mask will frame the ships' bow. Titanic museum has a particular interest in promoting the research for a cancer cure because it's personal to us. We know that 46 passengers who survived Titanic later died of cancer…seven of them from breast cancer. Their names, their stories and their legacies are the very foundation of the museum. They will always be honored and remembered. 48 WHAT'S UP! OCTOBER 18-24, 2020
