The goal of CORE is to provide job seeker assistance and matching employers with persons seeking jobs. Among the subjects to be covered will be Workforce Investment Act programs, on-the-job training, English Language Learners class information, the Dislocated Worker Program (layoffs), classroom training, job search assistance, Basic Education/GED Classes, and other subjects. Event organizers said this was a great opportunity to bring together community resources, employment opportunities and educators to one local setting to create a "one stop" for informational handouts and resources to share with our local community. In extending an invitation to the community, event organizers said, "This will also be a perfect opportunity to introduce your programs to our local partners and potentially expand your contacts. Participants accepted into the program will: Study all techniques of emergency care currently considered as responsibilities of the Emergency Medical Technician; Work towards the development of skills in recognizing signs and symptoms of illness and injury, and proper procedures of emergency care; Study anatomy, physiology, triage, patient assessment, and stabilization of patients.
