One Degree, Countless Career Paths Psychology is a diverse field that attracts students with its wide range of perspectives and areas of focus—from clinical, to industrial/organizational, to social. Pace's MA in Psychology on our New York City Campus is an ideal program for students looking to gain expertise in this field, and determine how they can apply it to their current career goals, new career path, or future doctoral program. A hallmark of our MA in Psychology program is the strong sense of community among our students, who bring the value of their varied backgrounds and interests to the classroom. Through our program, you will: ■ Gain the advanced psychology skills and theory you need with foundation coursework focused on developmental psychology, neuropsychology, human learning, personality theories, research design and statistics, and social psychology. ■ Develop a broad range of conceptual and analytical knowledge, including a focus on ethical guidelines within the field. ■ Learn from our highly qualified faculty, many of whom are pioneers within their respective concentrations. Specialization opportunities Students may enroll in one of the three optional research tracks: Track 1: Behavioral and Social Sciences Research Students focus on learning research methods and obtain research experience in the behavioral and social sciences. Potential career paths for graduates of this track include project management of large-scale research studies in psychology, and medical and allied fields that seek research expertise. This track benefits students who wish to pursue a PhD as research scholars in psychology or related fields.
