THE SKINNY: Despite being undersized, she will be a presence inside as a rebounder and defender and also has shown to be an outstand- ing passer. Marquesha Davis POSITION: Forward HEIGHT: 6-0 CLASS: Freshman HOMETOWN: Springdale LAST SEASON: Earned first-team All-Arkansas honors and averaged 21 points and 10 rebounds per game as a senior at Springdale. … Chose Arkansas over Kentucky, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Houston and Georgia Tech. THE SKINNY: Her athleticism and length should help make Davis an impact player as a freshman. Alexis Tolefree POSITION: Guard HEIGHT: 5-8 CLASS: Senior HOMETOWN: Alexander LAST SEASON: Averaged 10.2 points per game, including a season-high 22 against Ari- zona State. … Led the Razorbacks in scoring in seven games. … Made a team-high 77 3-point shots and played in 36 of Arkansas' 37 games, averaging 24 minutes per game. THE SKINNY: Showed the ability to make the perimeter shot and has worked hard in the off- season to improve her consistency. Erynn Barnum POSITION: Forward HEIGHT: 6-2 CLASS: Redshirt Freshman HOMETOWN: Little Rock LAST SEASON: Redshirted last season while becoming academically eligible. THE SKINNY: Has a knack for getting past defenders and scoring inside and should help give the Razorbacks more size and length on the interior. Grayce Spangler HEIGHT: 5-11 CLASS: Junior HOMETOWN: Fayetteville LAST SEASON: Played in 13 games and made 7 of 14 3-pointers. THE SKINNY: Should provide depth off the bench. Jailyn Mason POSITION: Guard HEIGHT: 5-9 CLASS: Senior HOMETOWN: Mason, Ohio LAST SEASON: Averaged 30 minutes per game, second-highest on the team. … Averaged eight points, 3.6 rebounds and almost two as- sists per game. … Shot 38 percent from 3-point range. … Averaged 12 points per game during three WNIT games including a season-high 17 against TCU. THE SKINNY: Has been the hallmark of con- sistency for the Razorbacks and should provide more of the same this season as a scorer, pass- er, rebounder and defender. Avery Hughes POSITION: Guard HEIGHT: 5-7 CLASS: Freshman HOMETOWN: Bentonville LAST SEASON: Finished as Bentonville's sec- ond all-time leading scorer. … Earned all-state and all-conference honors twice for the Lady Tigers.
