TRUE TO THE JOURNEY
Delta Chi Chapter Ranks Top 10 in Academics,
Welcomes 29 New Members
D
elta Chi Chapter continues to improve in many areas as we build on a
spring semester where we placed top 10 in grades and won the Spring
Sing for the second year in a row. This marks five consecutive years of
Delta Chi placing in the top 10 in academics, and we look forward to
building on that for years to come.
RECONNECTING WITH ALUMNI
At the beginning of summer, Delta Chi celebrated the 70th anniversary of
our chapter with a weekend-long event attended by actives and alumni. We
took this opportunity to present the renderings of our new Shelter coming in
August 2021. The remainder of the summer was dedicated to recruitment.
WELCOMING 29 NEW BROTHERS
We are beyond excited to welcome 29 new members this fall who exem-
plify the values of our chapter. While this is a smaller class than years
prior, we decided to focus on quality, grades, and believe that a smaller
class will lead to better bonding. Our new brothers are off to a great start,
and we can't wait to see what they will accomplish this year.
HOMECOMING AND FRESHMAN FOLLIES FUN
For the third year in a row, Delta Tau Delta was paired with a sorority
for Homecoming, and we were happy to work with Alpha Delta Pi.
Together, we constructed a house deck that was as tall and long as our
Shelter. While preparations for Homecoming were taking place, we
were also getting ready for our Freshman Follies show. This year, we are
paired with the women of Kappa Delta, which is also a competitive show
house. We hope to bring back the first-place trophy again.
As always, if you find yourself on campus, please stop by the Shelter for
a visit. Our active members would love to learn about your time with
Delta Chi and what the brotherhood means to you.
