T
he Theta Delta Chapter of Beta Theta Pi followed up a strong fall
semester with an even better spring. Double the fall pledge class of 14
members, the 28-strong spring class consists of mostly freshmen from
Ohio, with members hailing from as far as the Bay Area.
Alumni Support
We continue to be so amazed with the Theta Delta alumni. Many of you
are connected as volunteers and mentors, and numerous of you have
given generously to the capital campaign. Your generosity with your
time and resources does not go unnoticed. We are deeply appreciative,
thank you!
Having a Blast with Hoops
Last semester we had the blessing of hosting Chris Holtman, head coach
of The Ohio State basketball team, at our annual alumni roundup. Theta
Delta also had a blast participating in an in-chapter, 16-team 3-on-3
basketball league. We are excited to continue this new tradition in the fall.
GPA and Notable Accomplishments
We continue to boast one of the highest GPAs on campus with a 3.37
last spring. Fifty-four members made the dean's list and an additional
nine finished the semester with a perfect 4.0. We would also like to
congratulate brother Aaron Grieshop '19 for completing his ROTC
training and joining the military as an officer.
This fall, nearly 50 brothers are psyched to move into the Chapter House
as Theta Delta gets back on track with its philanthropy and general campus
involvement. By the time you read this, we hope to have begun a strong fall
semester as we continue down the path of principled men.
Yours in _kai_,
