Jean Wright Bullock '66 is retired but working
part-time as a floral designer and enjoying her
2-and-a-half-year-old grandson. She lives in

Kaye Salminem Thompson '69 retired from
teaching Spanish at St. Thomas Aquinas H.S.
in May 2018. She continues to teach ESC part-
time at JCCC. Kaye hopes to do some traveling
soon with her husband, who retired in December

Carole Horton Howe '74 earned a Master of
Divinity degree in May 2018 from Claremont
McKenna School of Technology and was ordained
in June 2018. "Thank you for the newsletters. The

Lucy Herlocker Freeman '80 welcomed
her first granddaughter in 2018, Nora Evelyn
Crable, born February 14, 2018. They are
loving every minute of the time spent with her!

Kristin Meyer Van Court '02 had her fourth
child, Benjamin, in March. Her husband, Phillip,
is the son of Louise Faith Van Court '70.
The Van Courts reside in Salina, Kan., with

Megan Reese Evans '03 and her husband,
Justin, are moving from KC to Singapore for
two years for Justin's job. They have one son,

Caitlin Taylor Flanigan '07 had her first
baby, Mary, on August 2018. Fun fact: Gina
Gerstner Meagher '07 had her first child (also
a daughter) on the same day! "Hopefully they
