STAY CONNECTED @ 8 f f @ 8 8 A fter graduating from Mizzou in the spring of 2016, I accepted a position as an Educational Leadership C o n s u l t a n t f o r A l p h a P h i International. I was so excited and honored to represent Omicron as I traveled the country to help other Alpha Phi chapters. Over my nine months as an ELC, I had about 39 flights and visited a total of 11 schools. My biggest responsibility during my ELC year was to support the new Ole Miss chapter in Oxford, MS. Being a part of Ole Miss Alpha Phi's very first Formal Recruitment was an experience I'll never forget and will value forever. As my ELC year was ending, I decided to sign on for a second year to travel as an Educational Leadership Specialist. The second year brought on 16 more visits, as well as helping with the International Recruitment Department's responsibilities and projects. Being an ELC/ELS was a once-in- a-lifetime experience that pushed me outside my comfort zone and showed me even more of what Alpha Phi has to offer. One of the greatest parts of traveling for Alpha Phi is all the outstanding women you meet along the way. When my ELS term was up, I couldn't wait to put everything I had learned back into my very own chapter here at Mizzou. I currently advise Target Membership Marketing for Omicron Chapter and couldn't be prouder to watch Omicron continue to grow year after year. I strongly encourage anyone interested in advising for a chapter near their hometown to reach out and find a way to get involved. There is so much more Alpha Phi can offer you outside of your collegiate years! I now live in Winston-Salem, N.C., and work as an account manager for an IT staffing firm!
