He was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Romain Reed; his first wife, Darlene Reed; brothers, Christopher, Dale and Frank Reed; and his sisters, Pauline Christian and Hazel Robinson. Rev. Reed served our country in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. SARAH DAPHINE JONES GREENE Mrs. Sarah Daphine Jones Greene, age 92, of Cliffside, NC, passed away on March 19, 2019. She was the daughter of Theron Jones and Viola Harris Jones. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Weldon Greene; one brother, Dan Jones; and a sister, Rachel Crawley. Mrs. Greene is survived by two daughters, Amanda Greene Bostic and husband Jerry and Patty Greene Garner and husband, David; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. ALVIN EUGENE SHULL Mr. Alvin Eugene Shull, age 91, of Shelby, NC, passed away on March 17, 2019. He was the son of the late Alvin W. Shull and Ivey Gladden Shull. Mr. Shull served our coun- try in the U.S. Navy during World War II and in the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents he was pre- ceded in death by one broth- er, William "Bill" Shull and two sisters, Ruth Brown and Margie Reinhardt. He is survived by his wife, Jenny Reinhardt Shull of Shelby, one daughter, Theresa "Reese" Lutz of Shelby, Danny Shull and wife, Vickie of Boiling Springs; and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was the widow of the late Herbert Arthur Davidson and the daughter of the late Jess Owens and Lorene Reynolds Owens. Mrs. Davidson is survived by a son, Ricky Davidson and wife, Tracy of Shelby, NC; a daughter, Cheryl Davidson Kumar and husband, Prakash of Lyman, SC; a sister, Linda her husband, Horace Eli Lutz; brother, James Kunkel; son Tim Miller.
