KENT HALE LOVELACE Mr. Kent Hale Lovelace, age 62, of Gaffney, SC, passed away on March 16, 2019. He was the husband of Julie Phillips Lovelace and the son of the late John Bunyan Lovelace Jr. and Eunice Wiggins Lovelace. In addition to his wife, Mr. Lovelace is survived by two daughters, Tina Lovelace of Shelby, NC and Ashley Michelle Lovelace of the home; two sisters, Abbie Anthony (Max Lail) of Shelby and Ann Holland (Dan) of Dallas, NC; one broth- er, Jimmy Dave Lovelace (Judy), of Shelby; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Park Hills Baptist Church. Interment was in Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery of Moorseboro, NC. He was the son of the late Reverend Gary Newton and Beula Farnham Newton. Mr. Newton served our country in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was pre- ceded in death by a brother, Gary Newton. He is survived by one daughter, Amelia Anne Newton of Spindale; two sons, Andrew Egan Newton of Johns Island, SC and James Edward Newton (Christine) of West Virginia; and three grandsons. He is the son of Daniel L. Jones Jr. and wife, Nancy Ashley Jones of Fallston. He was preceded in death by his grandfather and grandfather-in-law. Mr. Jones is survived by his parents, his wife, Patty Glover Jones; one daugh- ter, Kristin Jones Ross and husband, Bryan of Fallston; one granddaughter; four brothers, Daniel L. Jones III, Michael Shane Jones, Tony Willis and Jason Willis; and one sister, Wendy Cook Lattimore.
