She is survived by her children, Cathy Boyd (James) of Chesnee, SC, Libby Washburn Blair (Scott) of Boiling Springs, NC, and Harry Washburn, Jr. (Sherwin) of Boiling Springs, NC; four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and fif- teen great-grandchildren. Mrs. Washburn was pre- ceded in death by her parents, James Lineberry Jenkins and Kate McArn Watson; her brother, Jay Jenkins; and sis- ters, Catherine Vosecky, and Neil Burrus. DENNIS EUGENE BOWEN Mr. Dennis Eugene Bowen, age 64, of Lawndale, NC, passed away on January 11, 2019. He was the son of Eva Swafford McCombs of Shelby and the late Tommy Bowen. Mr. Bowen served our country in the U.S. Navy. With his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Diane; and one son, Keith Eugene Bowen. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Dennis "Shane" Bowen and wife, Tiffany of Lawndale; sister, Sandra Waldrop and husband, David of Lawndale; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Sanders served our country in the U.S. Navy and served during WWII.
