umberland County is accepting applications for the 2019
Citizens' Academy, to be held this spring. Dates will be
announced.
is free academy is held on six consecutive Tuesdays from 6 – 9
p.m. at various county government locations. Citizens' Academy
helps people gain a better understanding of what county government
does and how the various departments play a vital role in the
community. From the school nurse program to waste disposal, from
providing flu shots to finding homes for foster children, Cumberland
County Government is a dynamic and complex entity of employees
dedicated to serving the public.
