Residents can responsibly dispose of these and any other unused electronics at the Cumberland County Solid Waste Management landfill and container sites free of charge. By recycling electronics, you are diverting waste from the landfill and abiding by a state law that prohibits disposing of computer equipment, televisions and other electronics in North Carolina landfills. Workforce Development offers programs for youth, adults and dislocated workers at the Cumberland County NCWorks Career Center with the goal of increasing employment and training opportunities for the County's citizens as well as enhancing their productivity and competitiveness in the workplace.
