Seniors Alexa Kitlen and Mattie Leach, along with underclassmen Lily Allman and Alexia Estrada, return this year after not playing last year, while 6-1 sophomore Mollie Milleson gives the Lady Mustangs an inside force. "The upperclassmen need to step in as leaders," Kennedy said. "We need them to lead on and off the court as well as in the classroom. I feel we have a good mix of kids that will do that and make our team thrive." Kennedy said he began his duties this past summer and got to know the girls and their abilities. "This summer I learned we can move the ball up and down the court at a good tempo, which is what we would like to "The players will have to buy into a new system and all the other things that come with a coaching change. The whole system will be changed — from how we dress to how we practice, to what offenses and defenses we will use."
