Kyle Fields won just four games in his first year as head coach of the McDon- ald County High School basketball team. He almost tripled that total last year in his second year, going 11-16. This year Fields expects that trend to continue. "Every day was a lot of fun last year," Fields said. "We made some progress with our culture and what we expect in our program. We felt like we did some things better last year from the year before. Hopefully, this year we can be better and compete at a higher level." Fields greeted two returning starters, along with three other lettermen, who he thinks can lead the Mustangs to a very successful 2018-2019 season.
