Silly Al's has issued a challenge to other businesses, organizations and individuals to donate turkeys! The Quartzsite Food Bank is in need of 50 turkeys for the Thanks- giving Family Baskets. St. Mary's will not be supplying the food bank with them this year due to their helping with all the natural disas- ters in the country. You can make a difference for a family this Thanksgiving! The Quartzsite Historical Society will host a Free Historical Sites PIONEER TOUR for Buck Connors Western Days Friday, November 9th. Registration begins at 8:30am. Meet at Community Center, 295 E. Chandler St. Then we will get in our cars or ATVs and move to the next locations. Most locations are wheelchair accessable. There will be 11 stops along the route starting and ending at the Park.
