They are open Sunday thru Wednes- day 7:30am to 2:30pm. Winter Hours are from Oct. 1st thru March 31st. Dump your trash for free at the Transfer Station. Please cover your load. Coyote Fresh Foods is sponsoring the Cowboy Chili Cook Off on Saturday, November 10th during Buck Connors Western Days! Local chili afi cionados are invited to show off their skill and enter the con- test for trophy and cash prizes! Chili may be hot and spicy or mild and fl a- vorful. It could be meaty or vegetar- ian and green or red. But it must taste the best to win top honors! The public is invited to taste and vote for your favorite chili. Tasting starts at 11am and is only $5 per person. Come on down to the park and join the fun! A refreshing selection of beer and other beverages will also be available to cool tasters' palates. Dennis Kuehl will again be or- ganizing the popular event. Following the disbanding of the Quartzsite Ro- tary, which hosted the event previous years, Dennis offered to organize the event for the Chamber. Funds raised will be shared with Quartzsite Food Bank. Registration starts at 7am at the Community Center. The race starts at 8am. Participants will receive a t-shirt with Buck Connors Western Days Logo and will race for beautiful trophies.
