14 www.DesertMessenger.com October 17, 2018 Have You Considered? "If we walk in the light as He is in the light we have fellowship one with another" (I John 1:7). Why is walking in the light important to our continued fellowship with God, Christ, and one another in the church? Walking in the light is in reference to our man- ner of living after we have been called out of the world by the gospel. The Christian shows the world and teaches the world by doing good works of righteousness for God has ordained that we should walk in them (Eph. 2:10). The mission of each individual Christian is to show by our manner of living that we are truly the called out of God and of the one body of Christ. In that way we truly show and teach the world about the mission of the church of Christ which is eternal salvation for all. Consider this... What are you showing and teaching the world? Visitors are always welcome. 'Til your good is better and your better is best." ~St. Jerome By Michelle Kaufman On Saturday October 6, 2018 Quartzsite's Denim N Dust 4-H Club had many of it's members enter the Small Stock Show at the C.R.I.T. Indian Days Pow Wow and Expo. The kids showed their waterfowl, poultry, rabbits, and cavy (guinea pigs). They all did a great job and walked away with an abundance of ribbons and prizes. This Small Stock Show is a great way for the kids to kick off the 4- H year and get them warmed up to the many upcoming shows and events. We thank the community in Quartzsite and the surrounding areas for your continued support of our youth.
