The Sig Scroll p. 2 $400,000 CHALLENGE ISSUED Once again, brother Porter feels we should be doing more to help worthy ΓΔ brothers with their college expenses. He suggested a challenge fund be established. He and the other (five) lead donors of our Endowed Scholarship at the OSU Foundation have come together to fund a $400,000, 1.5:1 matching challenge grant. That's right, they are pledging to give $600,000 ($100,000 each) if the rest of us will give a total of $400,000. Meeting this challenge will fulfill our goal of adding $1 million to the Sigma Chi Endowed Scholarship at the OSU Foundation. This extraordinary opportunity is only good through March 30, 2019! With only six months until we reach our challenge deadline, we need your help. It is only with equally generous gifts from the rest of our alumni that we will meet our donors' challenge. Will you give today in support of Gamma Delta scholarships? For more information on how to give, see the article to the right. Together, we can fully fund our goal of $1 million in support of Gamma Delta scholarships. "Receiving the Watson Family Foundation Scholarship has helped alleviate the burden of col- lege tuition and allowed me to focus more on my schoolwork. I would like to thank the alumni for their giving as it has propelled me to succeed even more. Their support makes me want to give back to the Sigma Chi Scholarship Endowment when I am an alumnus." -William Henderson '20 "Alumni who give to the Scholarship Endowment fund allow active members to achieve their goals. The Donald Leon Stout Scholarship not only helped me remain active, but incentivized me to work even harder in school. I was rewarded for my hard work because of the generous support from our alumni." -Conner Blatt '19 "The Watson Family Foundation Scholarship has inspired me to give back to Chapter in the future and relieve the financial stress of a brother. These scholarships are key to keeping brothers engaged both academically and within the house. This scholarship helped me make ends meet and achieve my goals as a Sigma Chi." -Timothy Sakabu '19 Congratulations, Sigma Chi Scholarship Endowment Recipients Gamma Delta Chapter www.okstatesigs.com Facebook Gamma Delta Chapter of Sigma Chi Online Donations tinyurl.com/GammaDeltaDonate
