13 T hroughout the 2017-18 school year, Mu chapter has continued to excel in intramural sports. Autumn quarter consisted of a flag football team and a soccer team while winter quarter consisted of our basketball team and another soccer team. Playing these sports has been a great form of brotherhood as well as an excellent way for some of the older guys to get to know the new 2017 pledge class. The Alpha Sig flag football team represented the house very well as they were a part of the most competitive league the University of Washington had to offer. The team was led by Campbell Addington (PC 15), who just finished his 3 rd season as Mu chapter's quarterback. The team's receivers included Cameron Vela (PC 15), Nate Jensen (PC 16), Joey Johnson (PC 16), Eli Tostengard (PC 16), Deter Hudson (PC 15), Eric Ishimaru (PC 15) and Drew Stender (PC 15). The boys up front protecting Campbell from the pass rush included Brett Villa (PC 14), John Jackman (PC 16), Conner Ogdon (PC 17), and Matt Maloney (PC 14). The team made it through the regular season with a 4-2 record but eventually came up short in the 2 nd round of the playoffs. Some team leaders include Deter Hudson, who caught 7 of Campbell Adding- ton's 15 touchdown passes. Eric Ishimaru played free safety on the defensive side of the ball and led the team with 4 interceptions on the year. Brett Villa wreaked havoc on opposing quarterbacks with 8 sacks and Nate Jensen flew around to the football and recorded a team-leading 43 tackles. Mu's soccer players have been a part of 2 teams so far this year and have also seen great results. Team captains Cameron Vela and Nick Rogerson (PC 15) are proud of the new freshman that have stepped up and helped the team. These members of PC 17 include Carlos Contreras, Jacob Anson, and Martin Espino. The team worked hard, and it showed since they finished the regular season with a winning record in both the fall and winter seasons. Cameron Vela and Jacob Anson led the team with 8 goals apiece. Nick Rogerson kicked in 6 goals of his own while Carlos Contreras had 5. You can't forget about the defensive side of the ball either as the team's goalkeeper, Raffy Mestichella (PC 16), was saving shots throughout the whole year. Basketball also saw its share of success as the men of Alpha Sigma Phi fin- ished the season with a 5-2 record and made it to the quarterfinals of the playoffs where they eventually lost. The roster included 6'7" team captain Drew Stender, Eric Ishimaru, Eli Tostengard, Campbell Addington, Sean Delargy (PC 16), Eric White (PC 17), and Deter Hudson who went all the way from team statistician to starter after an off season filled with hard work. Drew Stender and Deter each led the team with approximately 15 points and 10 rebounds a game. Sean Delargy also averaged about 6 boards a game and Campbell Addington dished out 7 assists per game.
