igEp has played a meaningful and prominent role in campus
life at FIU, developing impactful campus leaders in SGA, peer
advising, orientation leaders, Student Alumni Association, and
dozens other organizations.
n Four-time winner of the Buchanan Cup (1989, 1991, 1993, 1999)
n Recognized as a Five Star Chapter by the FIU Interfraternity Council
n For the second consecutive semester, Florida Nu earned the top
chapter GPA among IFC chapters with a 3.25 GPA
n e fall 2016 new member class achieved the highest GPA in IFC
new member class history with a 3.33
n Florida Nu was recognized by SigEp at 2017 Carlson Leadership
Academy with an academic Excelsior Cup
n Twenty-one new members in spring 2017, including three FIU
cross country and track members
n 60 total members with a goal to reach 80 members by July 2018
