S ince our founding in 1985, Sigma Phi Epsilon has been at the heart of Greek life at Florida International University. rough a legacy of excellence in academics, athletics, and strong undergraduate and alumni leadership, Florida Nu Chapter has consistently set itself apart from other fraternities on campus and has oen been one of SigEp's best chapters nationally. With more than 1,000 initiates, Florida Nu Chapter has influenced the lives of numerous men, cultivating lasting friendships in the process. As alumni, we can trace many of our best college memories back to our SigEp experience. rough SigEp we learned the importance of virtue, diligence, and brotherly love, which helped us learn and grow as young men. We also acquired valuable assets, which included leadership skills, organizational skills, social skills, teamwork, and character— only the beginning of a long list of traits gained through our fraternity that have made us the men we are today. Because of this, many of our alumni have distinguished themselves as leaders in their professions and communities, and many of these alumni credit their fraternal experience as a significant contributor to the development of the men they are today. Although today's Florida Nu may look different than the one you knew, the cardinal principles and fundamental experience remain strong. Our members forge friendships that will last a lifetime, learn social and leadership skills, make memories that will be among their most cherished, and grow up at SigEp. As we look toward the future of SigEp at FIU, we know that investing in the Chapter is critical for our continued success and growth. Our organization has seen a great amount of success over the past 32 years, and we are dedicated to ensuring that this excellence remains unchanged for years to come. Now is the appropriate time to secure our future. FLORIDA NU'S 30-YEAR HISTORY "I have stayed involved with SigEp since the moment I left college because I knew the impact it had on me was something that needed to be perpetu- ated and handed down to others for as long as possible. Thirty years ago I vowed upon my honor to support ev- ery worthy endeavor of the fraternity and its members. I take that vow very seriously and am proud to support this fundraising campaign." – Honorary Campaign Chairman Tom Jelke '90
