He has been a Chamber of Commerce member for literally decades. George is a former Chamber Chairman, former Chairman of the Chambers Military Affairs Council (MAC) and also served as the President and CEO of the Chamber. George has served on committee after committee in support of our Chamber and has worked tirelessly behind the scenes over many years and continues to serve our chamber and community today. When asked about his service on the Chamber Board, George said, "the Greater Fayetteville Chamber has for over 119 years made a real and positive difference in our community. Why would anyone not want to be a part of a great organization like our Chamber? I am proud to do all I can to support the vision and mission of our Chamber and to help in any way I can the great leadership and staff that the Chamber has." The Chamber has recognized George over the years as a Realtor's Cup Recipient and in the most recent years as a Director Emeritus of the Chamber. And just a few weeks ago George was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award for his many years of work on behalf of MAC and the Chamber. George surprised no one that morning by accepting the Award on behalf of everyone who has volunteered and supported the Chamber and MAC over these many years. Jim Graham and his wife Cely opened BizCard Xpress in 2012 to offer SuperFast Printing and Signs. This followed a long career in community banking and deciding it was time to venture into business without the complications of today's banking environment. The chamber has always been the cornerstone of his company's marketing effort and he states, "If it were not for the chamber we probably would not be in business today. The ability to connect with other business owners on a regular basis has opened many doors that may not have been open to us otherwise. The chamber is the voice of small business and for these reasons, I am happy that I accepted the invitation to serve on the Chamber board." Gary Rogers with the Beasley Media Group represents Fayetteville's favorite radio stations including WKML 95.7FM, The Big Stick Foxy 99, Bob 96.5FM, Old School 107.7 Jamz, Sunny 94.3 and Fayetteville's newest radio station MyKISSRadio 93.5FM. He proudly works with businesses in our community, creating campaigns and marketing strategies to reach the over half a million listeners served in a 14-county radius. Along with his love of the job at Beasley Media, he is also a proud member of the Greater Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. "Working with an organization that truly focuses on businesses, no matter how big or small, shows the heart of this community and a commitment to its future success," Gary said. "I am honored that I can participate in the decision making process, and my voice and actions play a part in the success of the Chamber's future." Among many other great blessings in his life, Gary enjoys investing time at Breezewood Church on the Media Team and serving in the Children's Ministry. He is also an overwhelmed new father of an incredible son named Charlie and says he truly hit the jackpot when his wife Jennifer said, "Yes" over two years ago. "My constant goal is to get better at life every day. I want to learn something new and most importantly, I always want to set a good example as so many did before me." BOARD MEMBER PROFILES
