UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA | THETA GAMMA CHAPTER
4
T
he Theta Gamma alumnae and undergraduate leadership has
developed a solid plan to address the long-term viability of
the Tri Delta experience on the University of Oklahoma campus.
Through careful study, assessment, and planning, it has been
determined that updates and expansion to the chapter house are
necessary, and the sorority must invest in our home to meet the
needs of today's students. Working with a local architect, the Theta
Gamma House Corporation has developed a tactical approach to
our future.
EXPANSION
A storm shelter will provide a safe and secure place for the chapter's
protection. The shelter will be in the new basement that is to the
west of the dining hall. The shelter will also provide a storage area
and give the women additional space to be used throughout the year.
SAFETY
Renovations and an addition to the dining room and kitchen will
accommodate the growing chapter size. Adjacent to the current
dining room will be a Heritage room that will host more formal
events and will add space to the dining room when needed. As we
begin to expand the dining room, the kitchen will be expanded to
provide additional preparation space.
Additional Renovations
• Mailroom
• Laundry room
• Guest bedroom and bathroom
• Ability to add an additional story above the Heritage room
• Additional guest bathrooms
