PAGE 3 UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA Theta Gamma Celebrates 10 Years with Mom E M om E is one of the greatest parts about the Tri Delta Theta Gamma Chapter and the members love to celebrate her more than anything. Some of the members scheduled a din- ner to honor her 10th year of serving as house director. Her house mom friends from across campus even helped decorate the house. The house was filled with various decorations and invitations were sent out to her friends and family to participate. The chapter gath- ered in the living room awaiting her arrival and she was surprised and very thankful when she walked in. Throughout the night favor- ite memories with Mom E were shared and there were also presents given to congratulate her. As the celebration continued the kitchen staff provided desserts and snacks for everyone. She is so loved and continues to be the best house mom there is! Football Cookout Brings Tri Deltas Together Event Boosts Anticipation for Red River Game T he Sooners' longstanding rivalry against the Texas Longhorns makes for an intense, nail-biting occasion in college football every year. This year was no exception. Theta Gamma Chapter hosted an OU/TX pre-game cookout this year, to get each of our members pumped for the weekend event. Attendees enjoyed a food truck on the front lawn our chapter house, conversation with actives and alumnae, and our football-themed house décor. We used the cookout as an opportunity to show our freshman mem- bers one of our favorite traditions and how much the Tri Deltas love rooting for our beloved Sooners. The weekend was a great time for sisterly bonding and to incite enthusiasm for one of the most highly- anticipated games of the season! O U R R E M A R K A B L E 2 0 1 7 - 1 8 Y E A R The lovely ladies of Tri Delta at OU teamed up with Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity for the eighth annual Coffee House and Desserts. Another rewarding school year, more Tri Delta memories! Our chapter loves planning opportunities for sisters to bond with our mothers during Theta Gamma's annual Mom's Weekend. Some of our sisters enjoyed skiing the slopes over a snowy spring break. Members of our executive team attended this year's Tri Delta Collegiate Leadership Conference. Theta Gamma participated in OU's Soonerthon, helping to raise over $1M for the Children's Miracle Network.
