v 11 New Members Alpha Omicron has been busy this spring semes- ter fulfilling our membership in Alpha Delta Pi in areas of sisterhood, scholarship, philanthropy, and recruitment. Alpha Omicron hit the ground running this spring semester by welcoming 11 Alphas through Continuous Open Bidding, also called informal recruitment. These women spent their semester going through the Alpha Member Education Session. We celebrated their initiation on April 6 and look forward to seeing the impact they make on Alpha Omicron. District Leadership Conference Alpha Omicron continues to put an emphasis on scholarship. We are excited to announce that we achieved our highest overall GPA in the fall of 2017. In late January, several Chapter officers and advisors attended the District Leadership Conference in Tulsa. These women spent the weekend meeting sisters from District V and learning how to better our Chapter. Alpha Omi- cron brought home two awards in the realm of finance: 0% Accounts Receivable and Best Fi- nancial Delinquency Management. On-Campus Involvement Alpha Omicron sang and danced our way through Varsity Revue and Spring Sing. For Varsity Revue, we performed a Clue themed show with the men of Kappa Sigma. In April, our women performed with the men of Pi Kappa Alpha in Spring Sing. Alpha Omicron hosted our spring philanthropy event, Kick it with Ronald. Alpha Omicron hosted our mothers at the Chapter House for Mom's Day on April 14. The mother-daughter duos enjoyed desserts and decorating mason jars. It is always a special day for the women to share with their mothers how much Alpha Delta Pi means to them. Al- pha Omicron wrapped up the school year with a Founder's Day celebration and senior send off. It is bittersweet to say goodbye to these women who have called 1309 W. University their home for the past four years. We wish them the best of luck in the years to come and to remember that Alpha Omicron will always be home. Alpha Omicron's sisterhood is special to so many women. We are constantly living for each other and strengthening the bonds of our sister- hood that tie us together. We would like to thank the alumnae of Alpha Omicron for their uncondi- tional support and dedication to our chapter.
