As High Pi, it is my privilege to oversee this task and establish both the advisor group and a governing Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) of initiated brothers. I am happy to say that we have a good group of volunteers who have already stepped in with my personal gratitude (see the list below), but we really need your talent and help to complete the roles. Each officer can benefit from a group of Advisors offering support and ideas, so we're looking for additional volunteers. The chapter now has a supportive home for our fraternity, but the transition and disruption weakened the cycle of passing along experience for our new officers to draw on in leading Chi Zeta and pursuing our Core Values. That is where some of you, as more recent graduates with experience in the operation of a strong chapter (recruitment ideas, leadership models, alumni relations, scholarship and more) can really help now with real-life experience as well. Brothers, let me add that I believe this might be the most important contribution you can make to your fraternity, and the most personally rewarding. Spending time listening as a brother, mentor, and friend, and providing the insights and guidance an officer needs, is what Lambda Chi Alpha is really all about. If you would like to learn more, just drop me an email at sparsons@illinois.edu or feel free to give me a call at (217) 244-5458. Extending your hand to help lift your chapter to even greater heights, and to enrich the lives of your Brothers, is an opportunity I hope you will embrace. Yours in Z.A.X., Steve Parsons ΦΒ341 High Pi sparsons@illinois.edu (217) 244-5458 JOIN THE ALUMNI ADVISORY BOARD (Continued from page 1) The newly elected officers and executive members of Chi Zeta.
