PENINSULAR CHAPTER ADDS 10 MEMBERS DURING WINTER RECRUITMENT I think that every member of the Peninsular Chapter would agree with me when I say that we've been more successful than any of us could have imagined. We're continually growing as an organization while also becoming closer as friends. I cannot wait to see what the next few semesters have in store for us. The semester began with the winter recruitment period. I'd say we were all admittedly nervous about the recruitment process and we weren't expecting a huge turnout for any of our events. However, it went incredibly well and we managed to acquire 10 new members (a fantastic number for a winter class) who all fit the mold of what we want to see in a fellow brother. These individuals are midway through their new member education process and will be initiated in a few weeks. Aside from recruitment, this semester has largely been devoted to focusing on our future. There are several events that will be great opportunities for us to reestablish our name within the community. The most notable of these is Greek Week, which took place at the end of March and consisted of a week of philanthropic events that all Greek organizations participated in. There is much to be optimistic about concerning the development of the chapter. We have a stellar group of brothers with more on the way, and the arrival of the new house at the start of the next academic year will add all kinds of opportunities for us to grow and thrive as members of the Greek community.
